Our February reader in our "Meet A Bookmate" series is Florence Brown!

Meet Florence Brown, Age 83, a Willingboro resident for 52 years. Forence is a mother of two and a grandmother of three. Prior to becoming a BookMate, she worked for the IRS for thirty-four years.

She has been a BookMate since 2000 in the Willingboro school district. She recently connected to one of her students from 2008, who is now graduating from college with honors!

Florence said of her feelings about being a BookMate, “My time spent with the BookMates organization has been priceless.  It began at a time when I needed a purpose in my daily life and it continues to fill that today.
