JCRC Celebrates Jewish American Heritage Month

The month of May was Jewish American Heritage Month. Since 2006, following the passage of resolutions in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate, we celebrate the contributions and experiences of Jewish Americans and highlight how America’s Jewish communities have shaped and been shaped by the cultural, social, and economic fabric of the United States. The JCRC of Southern NJ has worked with several local communities and our local representatives to honor the month through proclamations and resolutions all the while reaffirming our community’s commitment to combat antisemitism. Thank you to our community partners for recognizing the importance and impact the Jewish community has had on our country.

A press conference was held on May 22nd with many of our local elected officials with several media outlets attending.
